The CMD Series drains are level actuated, pneumatically operated, zero-loss, automatic condensate liquid drain devices for use in discharging collected liquid from a compressed air system. It is recommended that the CMD Series drains are used with air receivers, drip legs, aftercoolers, separators, dryers, and filters.

CompAir’s pneumatic drains are a great option because they permit installation anywhere without concerns for electrical safety issues.  Pneumatic drains are powered by air, not electricity, so they are ideally suited for remote or portable applications. They are also safe to operate in any hazardous area. The pneumatic drains offered by CompAir are also zero-loss, meaning no compressed air is lost during the drain process. This results in energy savings.
